TRANSCRIPT OF PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS

On February 15th, the administration began the peaceful transition of power, making an era of change. Muffins29 and I are proud and excited to be serving the people of Redmont, and to achieve such a high record of support in the past election.

For far too long, many of the people in this nation have been ignored and disregarded. Rather than serving the people, some of our elected officials have opted to serve themselves. That changes in this administration, and it is a precedent we hope to continue to set. After all, as the citizens of this democratic nation, you employ your government. I am a strong believer in people-led governance and it is something we will stick to.

In our 14 days in office, we have increased transparency, facilitated further communication, and worked to strengthen our departments. We face many challenges following the issues left behind in the past term, however we will persevere. We have already begun the process of elevating department employees, addressing activity issues, and pushing for reform.

We've put responsible fiscal policy at the forefront of our goals, by reducing the budget by 11.64% in only our first month, and cutting down on irresponsible expenditures. We have worked to openly communicate with Congress about budget issues and have sought input from the community on multiple occasions.

We've only begun, and we've got much more to do. My hope is that the month of March will be one focused on challenging the status-quo and one of putting player retention as a priority. I would like to thank my Cabinet and the Vice President for their support thus far, in addition to the people who continue to stand by this government.

When challenging the status quo and putting the people first, there will be pushback, however the Vice President and I came into this office fully understanding the opposition that is set to come. With every step of the way, listening to the members of the community will remain, and I implore anyone to reach out about any concern. I look forward to what the future brings.

Westray
President of the Commonwealth of Redmont
