To
Establish an Oakridge Property Registry
The citizens of Oakridge, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Oakridge, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Property Registry Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) The establishment of a Property Registry will help businesses grow
(2) The property registry will help increase revenue
(3) To amend the Oakridge Building Regulations
(4) To amend the Economic Growth Plan Act
(5) To amend the Oakridge Commerce Opportunity Act
3 - The Property Registry
(1) The Head of Residence is charged with maintaining, and establishing a public property registry.
(2) To be eligible to use the property registry, a company must be registered with the Office of Commerce.
(3) A company registered with the Office of Commerce, may only have the plots registered under their account, held by the in game owner of the DB.
(4) Up to 2 properties may be registered with a singular company's account.
(a) No benefits may be withheld due to only having 1 or 2 registered properties.
(5) A company using the property registry, has an "account", under which their plots are registered.
(6) No player may have multiple companies registered under them with accounts at the same time.
4 - Payment
(1) There is to be a $400 per week charge, which is to be delivered to the town government account.
(a) This can be prepaid for up to 4 weeks at a time.
(b) If by the Thursday of any given week, the payment has not been delivered, their account is considered as elapsed.
(c) Elapsed accounts do not enjoy any of the benefits.
(2) This only applies for a company that has a Property Registry Account.
5 - Oakridge Inc.
(1) A company registered with the Department of Commerce (DOC), may also be registered with the Office of Commerce.
(2) A company is required to show their original filing with the DOC, and a statement on their business interests in Oakridge.
(3) A company registered wtih the Office of Commerce is to be a part of the Oakridge Business Association.
(4) Companies registered with the Office of Commerce may seek a loan from the Oakridge National Bank.
(a) This is only to take effect when it opens up to the public.
6 - Amendments
(1) The Oakridge Property Standards are to be amended as follows:
9. Plot Limitations
(1) Oakridge Residential plots. No player shall own/rent more than 1 Oakridge Residential plot.
(2) Oakridge Commercial plots. No player shall own/rent more than 4 Oakridge Commercial plots.
(3) Themed Oakridge Commercial plots. No player shall own/rent more than 2 Themed Oakridge Commercial plots.
(4) Orchard plots. No player shall own/rent more than 1 Orchard plot.
(5) Town Subsidized Commercial Spaces. No player shall own/rent more than 2 of each type of Town Subsidized Commercial Space.
(6) Oakridge Apartments. No player shall own/rent more than 1 Oakridge Apartment.
(7) Seaside Promenade Shops. No player shall own/rent more than 2 Seaside Promenade Shops.
(8) Realtors may not exceed normal plot limitations.
(9) A company with a non elapsed property registry account is allowed to hold 2 plots of any type(s), which does not count towards the players plot limit(s).
(2) The Economic Growth Plan Act is to be amended as follows:
3 - Creation of the Oakridge National Bank
(1) The Office of Commerce is authorised to create a town-owned commercial bank which is to take deposits and be the investment vehicle for the Economic Growth Plan.
(2) The Head of Commerce is authorised to draft and submit Incorporation filings for a corporation to fulfill this purpose. The corporation will be a governmental entity under §2(1)(c) of the Legal Entity Act only following the initial approval of all corporation filings by the Department of Commerce.
(3) At inception, this bank will be owned by the Town of Oakridge in its entirety.
(4) The Office of Commerce is authorised to hold, acquire, and sell Reveille properties.
(5) The Oakridge National Bank is required to follow all requirements listed in the following subsections, as well as current financial regulations, and Executive Orders.
(a) ONB must primarily invest Economic Growth Plan proceeds into FRB products and securities, loans to companies registered with the Office of Commerce, and loans to the federal government.
(3) The Oakridge Commerce Opportunity Act is to be amended as follows:
7 - Oakridge Business Association
(1) Any company registered with the Office of Commerce, is allowed to seek up to 30% more, than the usual limit for each grant type.
7 - Definitions
(1) For the purposes of this act, "company" is to refer to any legal entity registered with the Department of Commerce.
