Executive Order 49/26 - July 2026 Executive Order Cleanup II
By the authority vested in me by the Redmont Constitution

Whereas, a "President may issue and revoke Executive Orders to ensure good governance of the server" (Const. 24(5)).
Whereas, several Executive Orders from prior administrations have become obsolete through implementation, supersession, or changes in government practice.
Whereas, retaining Executive Orders that no longer carry operative legal effect or practical application unnecessarily complicates the executive record.
Whereas, Executive Order 48/26 - National Symbols directs the Department of State to create and maintain a National Symbols Policy, superseding earlier ad hoc declarations touching on the national symbols of the Commonwealth.

Section 1. Purpose
The purpose of this Executive Order is to repeal legacy Executive Orders that have become redundant, superseded, or otherwise non-operative, in order to maintain a clear and accurate executive record.
Section 2. Repeal of Obsolete Executive Orders
The following Executive Orders are hereby repealed in their entirety:
1. Executive Order 14/25 - Executive Transparency and Public Participation, which established expectations regarding routine press conferences and public engagement that no longer reflect current executive practice and need not be preserved by Executive Order.
2. Executive Order 16/25 - Presidential Address to Congress, which established a ceremonial practice that has not become a continuing constitutional or executive requirement.
3. Executive Order 41/25 - Purge, which authorised a one-time purge that has since been completed and has no continuing effect.
4. Executive Order 42/25 - Government Salaries Reform, which has been superseded by Executive Order 22/26 - Government Salaries governing executive compensation.
5. Executive Order 29/26 - Waffles Are Better (Not Really Though), the subject matter of which is now addressed through the National Symbols process established by Executive Order 48/26 and which no longer serves an operative governmental purpose.
Section 3. Effect
The repeal of the foregoing Executive Orders shall not invalidate or affect any action lawfully taken pursuant to them before the effective date of this Order.
Section 4. Implementation
This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon its signing.
