Executive Order 22/26 - Government Salaries​



Whereas, Secretaries have the responsibility of "[c]reating and amending departmental policy in accordance with the President’s direction" (Const. 24(5))
Whereas, a "President may issue and revoke Executive Orders to ensure good governance of the server" (Const. 24(5));
Whereas, Section 29(1)(b) of the Constitution tasks Secretaries with "[c]reating and amending departmental policy in accordance with the President’s direction".
Whereas, amendments to the Economic Standards Act have required that old government salaries be changed to align with current congressional direction;

Therefore, by the authority vested in me by the Redmont Constitution, I, Multiman155, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, do declare the following under this Executive Order:



§ 1. PURPOSE AND INTENT
The purposes of this executive order are:
(1) to harmonize government salaries with the requirements laid out in the Economic Standards Act (ESA), as amended;
(2) to set departmental loading in line with amendments to the ESA, which requires that "[n]on-cabinet Executive positions and any other position not assigned by Congress In this act are assigned by Presidential Executive Order to levels 0 and 4 through 8."

§ 2. SALARY BANDS
The following positions are assigned to the following salary levels, consistent with the Economic Standards Act:

(1) Department of Construction and Transportation (DCT):
(a) Construction Manager: Level 4
(b) Inspection Manager: Level 4
(c) Constructor: Level 5
(d) Builder: Level 6
(e) Apprentice: Level 7
(f) Building Inspector Level 6
(g) Inspection Officer: Level 5

Department of Commerce (DOC)
(a) Senior Economist: Level 4
(b) Economist: Level 6
(c) Compliance Officer: Level 6
(d) Compliance Manager: Level 4

Department of Justice (DOJ)
(a) Solicitor General: Level 4
(b) RBI Director: Level 4
(c) Special Prosecutor: Level 0
(d) State Prosecutor: Level 6
(e) Investigator: Level 7

Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
(a) Captain: Level 4
(b) Lieutenant: Level 4
(c) Sergeant: Level 5

§ 3. DEPARTMENT LOADING
(1) The President finds that the role of the Secretary in the following departments requires high amounts of activity, high workload compared to other public service positions, substantial leadership and institutional responsibilities, high necessary skills, and attracts high public scrutiny:
(a) Department of Construction and Transportation
(b) Department of Commerce
(c) Department of Justice
(d) Department of Education
(e) Department of Homeland Security
(f) Department of Public Affairs
(g) Department of the Interior
(h) Department of Health
(j) Department of State
(2) The following departments are considered to be Category A departments for purposes of the Executive Standards Act:
(a) Department of Construction and Transportation
(b) Department of Commerce
(c) Department of Justice
(d) Department of Education
(e) Department of Homeland Security
(f) Department of Public Affairs
(g) Department of the Interior
(h) Department of Health
(j) Department of State

§ 4. REPEALS
Executive Order 42/25 - Government Salaries Reform is hereby repealed.

§ 5. IMPLEMENTATION
Sections 1 and 3, shall take effect immediately upon signing. Sections 2 and 4 shall take effect as quickly as is practicable as for staff to implement the new in-game salaries specified in Section 2 of this Order. To the extent that language of any Executive Order issued prior to this one conflicts with Sections 2 or 4, that language is superseded by that in this Executive Order.
