AMEND THE CONSTITUTION OF
THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT

The People of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Unified Constitution Act.”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its passage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Justice Smallfries4 and edited by Speaker Multiman155.
(4) This Act has been sponsored by Speaker Multiman155 and co-sponsored by Rep. Talion77.

2 - Reasons
(1) To amend the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Redmont.
(2) Federal Court precedent firmly confirms that the Judicial Standards Act remains part of the Constitution through the present day, which has caused confusion as to what laws are “Constitutional” in nature.

3 - Amendments Amendment

Part VII shall be amended as follows:

48. Constitutional Amendment
A constitutional amendment is defined as any amendment made to the cConstitution itself. Only text physically contained within the Constitution itself may be considered a part of the Constitution. No text outside of this document may be considered constitutionally binding in any way.

Any constitutional amendment must start with ‘A Bill to Amend the Constitution’ and must serve exclusively to amend only the Constitution, without amendment to any other laws.
