COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:
On the 3rd of August, SaintSoren was farming on their property. While they were farming, Gwaryer entered SaintSoren’s plot, and proceeded to kill SaintSoren in a sudden, startling, and brutal manner. SaintSoren had previously placed a no trespassing sign on their property (Evidence B), making the Gwaryer aware that he was not allowed to be on SaintSoren’s property without their permission. SaintSoren was caused distress and fear from the incident. The murder also caused a delay in the SaintSoren’s farming, and wasted time.
I. PARTIES
1. SaintSoren(Plaintiff)
2. Gwaryer(Defendant)
II. FACTS
1.On the 27th of July, SaintSoren placed a no trespassing sign on their property.
2. On the 3rd of August, Gwaryer entered SaintSoren’s property without their permission, therefore Gwaryer was trespassing.
3. SaintSoren was murdered by Gwaryer on SaintSoren’s property.
4. SaintSoren suffered psychological harm, distress, and paranoia as a result of the murder.
5. SaintSoren sells their products in their chestshop, located at wl-c017. They also sell their products to other chestshops such as Abbot’s and Vernicia.
6. SaintSoren lost time, as they were nervous to return to their property out of fear of Gwaryer. Because of this, they lost product which led to less revenue.
III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
1. From the Legal Damages Act (Evidence C), Emotional Damages are defined as “Situations in which a person suffers psychological harm due to an entity's negligent or intentional actions.” SaintSoren is entitled to Emotional Damages as they suffered distress, fear, and paranoia as a result of Gwaryer’s intentional actions.
2. From 13.0 PvP and Tresspassing Laws (Evidence D), trespassing is defined as “The act of entering or being in a place without the consent of the owner, occupier or person having control or management of the place; or to remain in the place after being requested by a person in authority to leave the place.” Gwaryer was trespassing as they did not have permission from the owner to be on SaintSoren’s property.
3. The trespassing and murder put SaintSoren in fear of returning to their property. The jump scare shown in the video (Evidence A), led to paranoia and fear that their plot was unsafe. SaintSoren still fears that Gwaryer could trespass onto their property and kill them again at any time.
IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following from the Defendant:
1. $400 in compensation for lost revenue.
2. $25,000 in Emotional Damages.
3. $8,000 in Legal Fees
4. $5,000 in Punitive Damages for committing an outrageous act by disregarding a no trespassing sign, and proceeding to murder the owner.
