BILL
To

Amend the Constitution

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Right to Bear Arms Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Rep. TheReal42Person.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. Adam_The_Warrior & Rep. AlexanderLove.

2 - Reasons
(1) For too long, guns have been restricted in Redmont.
(2) For a long time, citizens were required to own a license to own a weapon that the government could take away at any time.
(3) Owning a weapon is necessary freedom to protect yourself against players, mobs, and the government.

3 - Section “32 - Rights & Freedoms” in the Constitution shall be amended as follows:
XVII. All citizens, regardless of playtime or criminal history, have a right to bear arms.

4 - New Definitions
51. Right to Bear Arms
The right to “bear” arms includes purchasing, ownership, legal use, and concealed carrying any weapon. This does not include selling weapons. Private plot owners may forbid any use, carry, or sale of guns on their private property.

52. Anthem

I hereby switch my vote to nay due to the word "any" that would permit citizens to use weapons of mass destruction.
