Brief

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT

MattisSuperstar v. teji2 [2026] DCR 189 - legal Brief

1. Facts of the Case

The plaintiff bought the music disc from the defendant, as shown in evidence. The music disc chestshop was clearly labeled with "Internationale" a well-known song you can listen to on Youtube for example. As you can hear and see in the tooltip the music disc is "Cat" the vanilla music disc. The disc costed 5000$ and the plaintiff has not gotten back his money. You can view the actual song "The Internationale" in P-003.

2. Legal Arguments

2.1 Misleading Conduct in Trade or Commerce
Redmont Civil Code Act, Part VI Subsection 3: Misleading Conduct in Trade or Commerce.

According to the Civil Code Act: Misleading Conduct in Trade or Commerce (A): "engages in conduct that is misleading, deceptive, or likely to mislead or deceive another person in connection with the promotion, sale, or supply of goods or services.". In this example the defendant created a chestshop and put a sign right over it with the song "The Internationale". Any reasonable person could easily believe that the chestshop sold the song "The Internationale" but so was not the case, the wrong music was sold in the chestshop. The plaintiff was sold a completely different song, "Cat".

2.2 Damages
As a result of this the plaintiff directly lost 5000$ paid to the Defendant for a music disc that wasn't the correct my client was promised from the sign above the chestshop. The plaintiff has not received any kind of refund from the client, leaving my client without his 5000$. Therefore, the plaintiff asks the Court to award the Plaintiff compensatory damages.

Court Order

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
ORDER

Upon review of the evidence presented, the Court has found a deficiency: no evidence has been presented linking the Corporate account "Rare" to the Defendant, where the firm "Rare" was the owner of the chestshop at the time of the purchase, as seen in P-001. In order to find in favor of the Plaintiff, the Court requires evidence showing this connection. Since it was partially an oversight of the Court to have not noticed this deficiency before this point, the Court gives Plaintiff 48 hours to present to the Court evidence of a link between the firm "Rare" and the Defendant.

So Ordered.
