Repeal Old Laws That Are Outdated or Conflict with the Constitution​

BE IT ENACTED by the Mayor and Council of Aventura:

1 - Short Title
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Legislative Clean-up Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Councillor RealImza.

2 - Reasons
(1) There exist many outdated laws within the Town of Aventura.
(2) This act repeals them to ensure a better legal system within our Town.
(3) The Resident Requirement Act shall be repealed as the definition of an Active Resident is now defined within the Constitution.
(4) The Public Opinion Act shall be repealed due to its conflict with the Constitution and the Standing Orders.
(5) The District Attorney Act shall be repealed due to its constraints towards the Office of Legal Affairs.

3 - Repeals
(1) The Resident Requirement Act is hereby repealed.
(2) The Public Opinion Act is hereby repealed.
(3) The District Attorney Act is hereby repealed.
(4) The Delegation of Powers Act is hereby repealed.
