Amend the Constitution
The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “LDV Cool Amending Constitutional Amendments Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by President LilDigiVert & Speaker of the House A__C
(4) This Bill was co-sponsored by Representative nnmc & Senator sleepyjay_.
2 - Reasons
(1) Currently, it is unclear/uncodified whether or not amending large consolidation bills with constitutional implications also amend the constitution.
(2) This Act will ensure less confusion for Presiding Officers and Congresspeople in the future. For example, there is already a lot of confusion when wondering if amendments to the Legislative Standards Act amend the constitution (when the act itself states that it “amends the constitution”).

Adds to Section VII: Defining Key Terms
Constitutional Amendment
A constitutional amendment is defined as any amendment made to the constitution itself or an amendment to a bill that amends the constitution. Any constitutional amendment must start with “A Bill to Amend the Constitution”.
