How do you plan on using your grant funding?
As a Non Profit Organization plans for the grant money on a monthly basis would ideally include:
- Providing Bounties for Topics and Stories within DC,
- Offering internal grants for journalist organizations that follow standards outlined by the bylaws within the NPO to improve quality of Journalism within DC.
- Holding monthly awards and prize money for exceptional Journalism within DC, both for Individuals and Organizations themselves.
- Generally used towards the supporting of Journalism within DC.

Like I said before:
Providing Bounties for Topics and Stories within DC, I want to incentivize journalism in DC with monetary "bounties" ranging from 1k-5k in reward to incentivize news organizations to tackle stories, with the cash reward going to the most exceptional of those attempted and submitted.

Offering internal grants for journalist organizations that follow standards outlined by the bylaws within the NPO to improve quality of Journalism within DC, I want to support news organizations financially with this money through grants for meeting journalism standards set by the NPO. Grants would range from 5k to 10k currently as I am writing this.

Holding monthly awards and prize money for exceptional Journalism within DC, both for Individuals and Organizations themselves. This is a widely requested opportunity for Journalists and writers in general in DC. I wish to create a monthly or quarterly "Pulitzer prize" type award to give to either organizations or exceptional journalists that provide well written and quality stories, ranging from 10k-15k are my current aims for this kind of prize.

I will also clarify the DCINDPUB is a Non-profit and that this grant would not fund "day to day operations" but provide capital for its non-profit purpose, to improve and maintain the quality of journalism in Redmont.

The grant itself seems to be explicitly for this potential and it is nearing the end of the month, I'm not sure of how much of this specific grant has already been allocated but this money would be used well for the public benefit that the NPO intends to provide.
