Information Expression of Interest - Judge

The Supreme Court in coordination with the President, has decided to open up an expression of interest forum for those with extensive legal experience to express interest in the role of Judge. We would like to emphasize the apolitical role this is, and ask that people respect this process by not campaigning, endorsing, or explicitly supporting any individual for such role.

JUDGE INFORMATION
Judges serve on the Federal Court of the Commonwealth of Redmont. They preside over all cases in the Federal Court and may preside over the District Court. The‌ ‌Federal Court‌ ‌of‌ ‌Redmont‌ ‌hears‌ ‌all‌ ‌major‌ ‌civil‌ ‌and‌ ‌criminal‌ ‌disputes‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌first‌ ‌instance and is‌ ‌the‌ ‌appellate‌ ‌court‌ ‌for‌ ‌verdicts‌ ‌made‌ ‌by‌ ‌the‌ ‌District‌ ‌Courts‌.

Judges are expected to maintain judicial integrity and independence, and to perform‌ ‌the‌ ‌duties‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌office‌ ‌fairly,‌ ‌impartially,‌ ‌and‌ ‌diligently.‌

i believe i should have this position because i am great with team i am a great communicator and i can listen well, i believe i should have this position as i am using this as a stepping stone to being a layer and i would love the experience. This is my passion even though i might be new to the server i can still do very well in legality, i sadly do not have any experience in law on THIS server but would still leave a positive impression on the server. i do have experiance with keeping law and order in small servers with friend maybe 10 or more people i was doing roles like judge and police but obviously i can only do one on the server these are all the reasons why i should should become a layer on this wonderfull server thank you for considering me have a wonderfull day/night

• What are your strengths and weaknesses?: For strengths I would say that I have a deep knowledge of the Redmont Legal system, both in regards to its law, procedures, and court precedent. I'm also a strong communicator with a deep aversion to being late. For weaknesses? I would have to say that I am employed full time, so my case load may be limited.
• What town/city do you primarily reside in?: Oakridge
• Why do you want this position?: I've always wanted to be a judge. From the moment I entered the legal scene I have been talking about being in the judiciary one day. I remember around a year ago having conversations with JuniperFig while the judiciary was nearly abandoned about filling a seat, but deciding not to in order to continue my work in the DOJ. I think I would be a good fit for it and that my legal knowledge makes me an ideal candidate.
• All Magistrates are required to possess the Attorney qualification, have you passed that exam?: I have.
• Are you able to effectively communicate with a team? Explain: I mean, I ran the DOJ as Attorney General and was in leadership in the largest political party in Redmont for nearly a year, need I say more?
• What kind of legal experience do you have on DC outside of the court?: I am the former Attorney General, Solicitor General, Employee of Dragon Law, House Representative / Deputy Speaker, and Attorney General for the town of Oakridge. Nearly my entire existence in DC for the past year has been in the legal field.
