Executive Order Executive Order 25/25 - Playtime Requirements

By the authority vested in me by the Redmont Constitution, I, Kaiserin_, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, do declare the following under this Executive Order:

Whereas it should be the purview of each Executive Department to decide the qualifications for each position it hires for, and

Whereas 48 hours is often an unreasonable amount of time required for entry-level positions that do not always necessitate significant in-game time commitments:

§ 1. Playtime Requirements

1. It shall be the responsibility of each Executive Department to set playtime requirements, be they requirements for total or active playtime, for each position within their Department.

2. Total playtime requirements must be at least 12 hours for any position, and may not exceed 48 hours.

a. The exception to the above clause shall be the Trainee Doctor position, which may have a total playtime requirement below 12 hours.

3. If it is not otherwise specified by law or Department policy, 24 hours is to be considered the default total playtime requirement for any Executive position.

4. Departments are encouraged to consider the necessity of in-game playtime for carrying out the actual functions of any given position, and set restrictions accordingly.

§ 2. Enactment

1. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

2. All relevant sources of information in-game and on the forums will be updated accordingly.

3. This Executive Order overrides any previous Executive Order or policy on the matter of playtime requirements.
