To

Define the destination of auction proceeds.​

The citizens of Oakridge, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Oakridge, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Emergency Auction Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: Mayor Sofia2750
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Councillor MrCheesGuy

2 - Reasons
(1) Town auction proceeds have always gone to the town. This has been a well known fact, and any reasonable person
(2) This had not been written down anywhere in legislation, putting the town at risk of litigation
(3) This has to be done in order to satisfy the DOJ, and do auctions without putting national security at risk.

3 - Definitions
(1) "Town Auction proceeds" or simply "Proceeds", is to be defined as: The money that the auction winner paid to win the auction.

4 - Handling of Proceeds
(1) The Town Eviction Tax is set to 100%.
(2) This is to be regardless of the type of plot up for auction, previous ownership, or other factors.
(3) This is to be collected by the Mayor.
