OPEN POSITIONS
We are currently looking for people to fill the following position:
- Director of Legislative Affairs

Director of Legislative Affairs
The Director of Legislative Affairs is the head of the OCA, subordinate only to the Presiding Officers. They are responsible for:
- Hiring and Firing Congressional Staff.
- Coordinating and Managing the Office of Congressional Affairs.
- Communicate the Presiding Officers decisions to the OCA

Requirements for this position:
1. You must have the Attorney license.
2. You must not hold a leadership role in any political party.
3. You must not hold office as a Member of Congress.

The political-impartiality conditions outlined above apply for the entire period you are employed as the Director of Legislative Affairs.

Experience: 1x senator, 2x deputy president of the senate, 1x president of the senate, 1x clerk
- A short statement answering the following questions:
a) Why do you want to work as the Director of Legislative Affairs? I have been a fairly active clerk, and with my experience i know what im doing.
b) What can you bring to the role? Active leadership, competent leadership, and effectively doing my job.
c) Why is it important for Congress to receive high-quality and non-partisan advice? Because then congress can better do its job. If its partisan, it would defeat the point of it being good advice.
