CONGRESS OF THE
COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
A RESOLUTION TO
Set the Borrowing Ceiling at $100,000,000
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby resolve the following:
1. Short Title
(1) This Resolution may be cited as the ‘Debt Limit Resolution’
(2) This Resolution has been authored by Representative Julia Tempest.
(3) This Resolution has been co-sponsored by President of the Senate Talion Contour.
2. Reasons and Intent
(1) Section 6(2) of the Borrowing Authority Act authorises Congress to set the Borrowing Ceiling.
(2) Setting a Borrowing Ceiling is necessary to allow the Commonwealth to borrow.

3. Borrowing Ceiling
(1) Inline with Section 6(2) of the Borrowing Authority Act, Congress hereby sets the Borrowing Ceiling at $100,000,000.
