1. on febuary 8th 2026, the defendant made an auction auctioning a knockback 255 stick
2. on febuary 14th 2026, the plaintiff won the auction and fulfilled their contractual obligation by paying the winning bid of 5500 to the defendant
3. the defendant has not fulfilled their part of the contractual obligation by mailing the item to the plaintiff

III. Claims for Relief
1. Breach of Contract under the Redmont civil code act

IV. Prayer for relief
1. $5.500 in Nominal Damages for the bid
2. $10.000 in Compensatory Damages
3. 30% in legal fees

VERDICT

Dearev v. .Lucky_waq [2026] DCR 20

I. PLAINTIFF'S POSITION
1. On February 8th 2026, the defendant made an auction auctioning a knockback 255 stick
2. On February 14th 2026, the plaintiff won the auction and fulfilled their contractual obligation by paying the winning bid of 5500 to the defendant
3. The defendant has not fulfilled their part of the contractual obligation by mailing the item to the plaintiff

II. DEFENDANT'S POSITION
The defendant failed to appear.

III. THE COURT OPINION
This case is pretty straightforward. The Plaintiff, placed a legal bid on an item being sold by the Defendant. The Plaintiff has the winning bid, and thus paid the full amount as per the auction rules and regulations. The Defendant failed to uphold their part of the bargain and did not transfer the won item to the Plaintiff.

IV. DECISION
The District Court hereby rules in favor of the Plaintiff.

Defendant is to pay the following:
1. $5.500 in Nominal Damages as a full refund for the bid.
2. $1.000 in Compensatory Damages for breaching the contract
3. $1950 (30%) in legal fees.

The District Court thanks all parties involved. Court is now adjourned.
