Case Filing

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
CIVIL ACTION

Briggzy24
Plaintiff

v.

LarpTiktok
Defendant

I. PARTIES

  1. Briggzy24 (Plaintiff)
  2. LarpTiktok (Defendant)
II. FACTS
  1. The Criminal Code Act was repealed on July 19, 2026 (P-001), removing all defined offences, leaving the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice unable to prosecute offences formerly defined as crimes.
  2. On July 26, 2026, at around 17:21 local time, 7:21 am GMT, Defendant posted an /ad which read, "selling a green tractor for 3k , dealership price is 6k 7k soemthing msg now". (P-002)
  3. Around the same time, Plaintiff asked to see the tractor, asking "can I see it?" (P-003)
  4. Defendant instructed Plaintiff to meet at /zoo and the parties met there. (P-003)
  5. Parties conversed on the subject of colors of the advertised product. (P-003)
  6. Plaintiff asked in local chat "whats the command to send money?" and the Defendant replied "do /pay larptiktok". (P-004)
  7. Moments later the Plaintiff transferred $3,000 to LarpTiktok (P-004), and the Plaintiff wrote "sent" in local chat (P-005).
  8. The Defendant teleported away and almost immediately placed Briggzy24 on Ignore. (P-005)
III. CLAIM FOR RELIEF
  1. Defendant committed a Failure to Deliver Goods or Services under Redmont Civil Code Act (RCCA) Part V Section 4: "a person commits a violation if the person fails without lawful excuse to deliver goods or services that they have agreed to supply under a valid transaction or contract." Defendant offered the goods via /ad, the interaction led to a reasonable assumption of acceptance (asking about colors and how to transfer money), the money was sent, and no goods were delivered. The Defendant teleporting away and then placing the Plaintiff on ignore - an act that does not prevent the Defendant from delivering the item - indicates an acknowledgement of this failure.
IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
  1. For Failure to Deliver Goods or Services, either a) 1 green tractor or b) $3,000
  2. Punitive damages due to outrageous conduct under the RCCA Part III Section 3 (2)(b), having exercised dishonesty and deception
  3. Applicable legal fees

Motion

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
MOTION TO COMPEL

Your Honor,
The Plaintiff moves that the court compel Staff to corroborate:

  1. Chat logs presented in Exhibit P-003, produced around 7:21 am GMT on July 26, 2026
  2. Teleportation logs of Defendant LarpTiktok, from posting the ad (P-002) up to placing Plaintiff Briggzy24 on Ignore (P-005)

Verdict

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
VERDICT - Briggzy24 v. LarpTiktok [2026] DCR 143

Summary
On July 26th, 2026, Defendant advertised a green tractor for sale at $3,000. Plaintiff responded, met Defendant at /zoo, discussed the product, and asked how to send payment. At Defendant's direction, Plaintiff transferred $3,000 to Defendant. Defendant then teleported away and placed Plaintiff on Ignore. No tractor was delivered. Defendant failed to appear following the summons, and the Court proceeds directly to verdict without entering Inquest.

Findings of Fact
Defendant having defaulted, the Court accepts Plaintiff's uncontested factual submissions where they are supported by evidence. The Court finds that Defendant made an offer through a public advertisement, that Plaintiff accepted that offer by tendering the advertised price at Defendant's own instruction, and that a valid transaction was thereby formed. The Court further finds that Defendant received $3,000 and delivered nothing in return.
The Court finds that Defendant's conduct following receipt of payment, namely leaving immediately and blocking communication with Plaintiff, is inconsistent with any intention to perform and supports an inference that Defendant never intended to deliver the goods.
The Court notes that the repeal of the Criminal Code Act (P-001) has no bearing on Defendant's civil liability and has not been considered in reaching this verdict.
Plaintiff's Motion to Compel is DENIED as moot. The exhibits are uncontested and sufficient to establish the facts relied upon.

III. RULINGS ON THE CLAIMS
1. Failure to Deliver Goods or Services
- GRANTED
2. Punitive Damages - GRANTED. Accepting payment for goods, departing immediately, and blocking the purchaser reflects deliberate dishonesty and deception within the meaning of RCCA Part III Section 3(2)(b).

IV. AWARD
The Court declines to order delivery of the tractor, as a monetary award provides a complete remedy and specific performance would be impractical to supervise given Defendant's non-participation.
The Court awards the following against Defendant:
Compensatory Damages of $3,000, being the purchase price paid for goods not delivered.
Punitive Damages of $1,500 for Failure to Deliver Goods or Services.
Total award: $4,500.
Legal fees are awarded at 20% of the total award, being $900.

So ordered,
Justice Mug in the District Court
