How do you plan on using your grant funding?
Reveille Self Storage is a facility that's open 24/7 and allows paying customers to rent a storage cage of their choice of size, from small to large, at a reasonable price point. Right now, I am unable to run the business apart from creating a Discord server as I do not have any property. I have noticed that often people run out of storage space on their plot or in their apartment, and this could be the gap in the market which I am looking to fulfil. Here's a breakdown on how I plan to spend my grant:
- $68,000 for property
This portion of the ideal grant amount will be dedicated entirely towards the storage facility property. I've talked to my realtor and this is the best price for the property that I need, and the property is at the required size for a reasonable amount of storage cages, and internal staff rooms. The $3000 in realtor's fees has been included in the sum of $68k.
- $3,000 for repurposing
The property is currently not designed for self storage needs, so I will use this portion to buy chests, install locked doors, iron bars, move walls, expand the elevator to 2x2, etc.
- $2,000 for headroom
This portion would go towards making sure that if there is a rough week or something like that, and I need some money to sort something company-related and important, this will be my guardian angel.
