How do you plan on using your grant funding?
We plan to use this funding to pay our (expensive af) current developpers for the developpement and be able to fund new developpers and employees for the bloomberg terminal projects. The project is basically to build a dc website version of the bloomberg terminal which is expensive to make because of the complexity of the thing. Id be glad to answer questions on it if needed.

In real life, the Bloomberg Terminal is used by banks, hedge funds, governments, journalists, and basically everyone to access real-time market data, analytics, news, and research. Our project tries to adapts that same concept to dc. Its purpose will be to : Centralize economic, corporate, and market data into one trusted platform, Provide tools for analysis, research, Support businesses, investors and journalists with reliable information.
For Bloomberg Intelligence, the terminal becomes the backbone of all our operations since It allows us to distribute our data, research, and analytics in a structured way while increasing the credibility and visibility of our brand and It creates long-term revenue potential through subscriptions, partnerships, and premium tools. Finally It enables the expansion of Bloomberg Labs into additional products (AEGIS, Secure, BMS, etc.).
For the DemocracyCraft community, the terminal Improves overall market transparency by reducing manipulation and possible misinformation. It also gives businesses and investors tools to make better decisions regarding markets and economic decisions. Basically, it would give people way more advanced tools for people to analyse markets and economic data.

The Bloomberg Terminal Lite already includes live market prices from in-game exchanges, stock and commodity dashboards, technical charts and indicators, watchlists and indices, company and asset profiles and a news and event integration

The full version will expand into Advanced analytics, economic indicators, corporate fundamental, historical datasets, scenario modeling tools and Research and reporting features.

Right now, we are mainly waiting for the NER and TSE to give us designated API keys to continue developpment and release the lite version.
