Amend the Constitution​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Appropriations Veto Override Act'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Omegabiebel.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Senator Bezzergeezer

2 - Reasons
(1) Vetos on appropriations should be overridable, as Congress holds power of the purse
(2) With the current legislation the president could just veto every single appropriations bill, causing the same budget to be disbursed and circumventing Congress.

2 - Amendment

(1) Part I, section 2 of the Constitution shall be amended as follows:
“
(3) Override Vetoes. Congress may override a Presidential veto on all legislation., with the exception of appropriation bills.
