What position are you applying for? Compliance Officer
Why do you think you are suited to the position you are applying for? I've been working as an economist for the last ~4 months. Primarily when joining the department of commerce, I've been interested in lowering our ticket load. However, a large amount of the tickets are primarily Compliance-Officer based. I'd like the opprotunity to learn about that side of the department and have the ability (and the permission access) to solve many more of the tickets without waiting for Sec/DepSec to personally handle the matters.
Additional Information: As a side goal that relates, I'd love to take a look at some aspects of the department that shouldn't be limited to just Secretary/Deputy Secretary. I already suggested some changes on the economy side (handling fines and other simpler tasks that don't require oversight), and I would hope there's one to two things I could potentially work to have at a lower level so that we can have our most experienced members (Sec/DepSec/Managers) handling the more difficult side of the department.
