Representative, I believe you are misunderstanding what this bill does. It merely prevents a Representative (or Senator) to run for a seat with the exact same term as their current seat. This would exclude general elections.

AYE - A member of congress running for a seat in the same chamber they represent is silly.

NAY - While I respect the idea for this bill, DCT leadership has expressed that the DCT would have to introduce more bureaucratic processes to their current eviction system, which would slow down the DCT and would unnecessarily overwork DCT employees. I stand with the DCT on this matter

NAY - This should be democratically decided.

Holding off on voting until I get more information.

AYE - Very simple fix.

AYE - Far better than what we have now.

NAY - We don't need to shorten the caretaker period, it has its uses. Seven-days is too short for the presidential election. I'd be more open to supporting this bill if caretaker and the electoral period for the presidential election weren't touched.

NAY - Four days isn't enough time to clear the docket.

AYE - We should be harder on criminals. This ties into my plans to extend jail time and fines for high crimes.

NAY - While I find this bill to be quite humorous, it is beyond unnecessary (as it's a joke!).
