BILL
To
Amend the Bank Trespass Act
BILL
To
Amend the Bank Trespass Act
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “A Cool Bank Trespassing and Bank Robbery Combination Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This bill was authored by Representative A__C.
(4) This Act is co-sponsored by Representative Aezal.
(5) This Act is approved by Justice Secretary ElainaThomas29.
2 - Reasons
(1) It is currently too hard to prove that someone actually robbed the bank and is not just trespassing- after all, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and technically it can be argued that a person was just trespassing if there is no proof that they are breaking the gold blocks inside the bank- i.e. a screenshot while they are physically breaking it- which is nearly impossible to get considering people are often invisible and screenshotting is not that simple.
(2) A person trespassing inside the bank most likely has the intent to rob it.
3 - Amendment
(1) Amends the Bank Trespass Act
From:
A person who trespasses behind the “no trespassing signs” in the bank, which includes going behind the glass and/or entering the vault, will be charged as follows:
First Offence: $100 fine and 10 minutes jail time
Second Offence: $200 fine and 20 minutes jail time
Third Offence and After: $300 fine and 25 minutes jail time
To:
A person who trespasses behind the “no trespassing signs” in the bank, which includes going behind the glass and/or entering the vault, will be charged as follows:
Per Offence: $1000 fine and 10 minutes jail time
4 - Ressincion
(1) Hereby repeals the Bank Robbery Act.
