How do you plan on using your grant funding?
If the funds are granted, they would be used to support the hiring and retention of legal talent, as well as promoting legal education and human resource development within the firm. Our approximate breakdown is as follows:

1. General Legal Talent Hiring and Retention : $50,000
2. Legal Training Development Cost: $15,000
3. Legal Training Compensation to Employees: $10,000

Ideal Grant Amount 75,000

If awarded, I intend to use the grant money allocated to me for its intended purpose on which it was approved for, and provide a breakdown in my application thread of how the funding was used.

Hello! To our knowledge, MZLD already has quite an extensive legal training system. Is this money intended to further develop that system, or are there plans to change how Legal training takes place?

I am not quite sure what you are referring to here. I’m assuming you’re referring to ToadLaw, which people had access to, but to my knowledge that is now essentially gone with Toad’s departure. We are not going to be using the Money for ToadLaw, as Toad is gone.

At present, the training given is highly individualized, which is really time-intensive for our experienced lawyers. I do not want to have to one-man-army this going forward or when people get busy. We also have a system where we can compensate people for passing exams.

To replace this, we are planning to create a new standardized training system from scratch, including materials and presentations that will be given to new hires. The funds for training would be used to create these materials and actually have employees give the trainings.

Oh, I kinda forgot that was toads individual project, and was just heavily linked to mzld, forgive my ignorance there. Thank you for the detailed reply!
