CONGRESS OF THE
COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT

A BILL TO

Force changes in numbers to be clearly visualized in bills

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I — PRELIMINARIES

1. Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Yellow Numbers Act'

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by Angryhamdog.

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Toadking__.

(5) This Act amends the following acts:

(a) Legislative Standards Act

2. Reasons and Intent

(1) Numbers and equations have been changed in many bills but incorrectly labeled as a shade of yellow instead of a green or red color, despite the number being changed rather than simply 'reworded'. Numbers changing is a fundamental change that should be easily visualized.

PART II — Amendments

3. Legislative Standards Act Amendments

(1) Section 10 of the Legislative Standards Act shall be amended as follows:

10 - Acts of Congress
(1) When amending a bill, all changes must be marked with the appropriate color.

(a) All text being removed from an amended bill must be in a shade of red.

(b) All text being added to an amended bill must be in a shade of green.

(c) All text being reworded in an amended bill must be in a shade of yellow.

(i) Numbers or equations that are being changed may not be visualized in yellow.
