To

Amend the Wills Act

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Wills Act”.
(2) This Act applies to the will of any player signed on or after the date of the coming into operation of this Act.
(3) This act has been co-sponsored by Representative SlimeGlitch and Representative BubblyBo


2 - Reasons

• To prevent new players from making a will to give all their assets straight after they join the server.
• To assure that the testator isn’t forced into writing a will and making sure the witnesses are completely impartial.

3 - Terms
The following section of the Wills Act shall be compared and updated as follow:


1) Preference from the current act:

“3 - Validity
A will is not valid unless --
(a) it is in writing;
(b) it is signed by the testator; and
(c) the testator signs the will in the presence of two players holding a current legal qualification.
(d) the will is attached to a 'goodbye post' on forums under the about me sub-forum.”

2) Updating to:

“3 - Validity
A will is not valid unless --
(a) it is in writing;
(b) it is signed by the testator; and
(c) the testator signs the will in the presence of two players holding a current legal qualification.
(d) the will is attached to a 'goodbye post' on forums under the about me sub-forum.
(e) The testator must have over 12 hours of playtime.
(f) the two players in presence of the will cannot be at the receiving end of the will. ”
