If the court allows, I would like to petition to expedite the trial and hold a public trial at the courthouse immediately. As the defendant is currently in the Hamilton Correctional Facility.

According to the In-Game Trials Process, the Defendant will have to answer your complaint on forums first. Then, we can determine a time to hold the trial in-game, if the Defendant agrees to do so.

IN THE COURT OF DEMOCRACYCRAFT
In-Game Trial Briefing

As per the In-Game Trials Process a detailed briefing of what occurred in-game is to be made with the verdict.

Opening Statements
Plaintiff:
"The contract was for legal help regarding another case. He had signed a contract that agreed to $1000 per day and $500 for breach. He breached the contract and refused to pay"

Defendant's Counsel:
"Your honour, Utah tried to make my client pay for a deal he did not hold his side too."
  • To note, the Defendant cursed out the Plaintiff, until being held in contempt. His original opening statement of cursing at the Defendant was striken from the record; and his counsel was given the opportunity to make a proper statement, as shown above.

Notes
  • The Defendant had acted out of turn multiple times
  • During the trial, the Defendant murdered:
    • His counsel, SummitCanda
    • The Judge, Westray
    • The Plaintiff, UtahCowboy20
    • Krix
    • spaghettisauce23
  • The Defendant was fined for contempt twice.
  • After the multiple interruptions, court continued with the case, and moved onto testimonials and the analysis of the evidence presented.
  • The Defendant continued to act out of turn.
  • The Defendant and his counsel refused to continue with the case.
  • The Defendant's counsel, SummitCanada, murdered Block335.
  • The trial was ended early as the Defense was not properly answering to the court.
  • A verdict was made based on the facts presented before the trial was cut short.
  • The Defendant and his Counsel were arrested for their murders.
Closing Statements
There were no closing statements made as a result of the Defendant refusing to respond mid-trial.

Verdict

IN THE COURT OF DEMOCRACY CRAFT
VERDICT

Case No. 08-2020-25

I. PLAINTIFF’S POSITION
1. The Plaintiff, UtahCowboy20 alleges that Defendant had failed to follow the terms of their contract, which included a payment of $1000 in exchange for legal representation.

II. DEFENDANTS POSITION
1. The Defendant, The_Angel_Wings, alleged that the Plaintiff did not hold up his end of the deal for legal representation.

III. THE COURT OPINION
1. The Defendant's argument that the Plaintiff did not provide legal representation was proven false by the evidence presented by the Plaintiff. The evidence of the conversation with Dark indicated that he had engaged in negotiation with opposing parties in a case he was representing the Defendant in.
2. The Defendant had failed to properly address the claims against him in trial, and did not take this case seriously.

IV. DECISION
The Court hereby adjourns this case in favour of the Plaintiff.

The court orders the Department of Justice to:
(a) Take $2000 from the balance of The_Angel_Wings
(b) Transfer the funds to the Plaintiff, UtahCowboy20
