Help Increase Town Funding

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives and Senators in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

This Act may be cited as the "Town Tax Act"

This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

This Bill was authored by Representative AnArab and co-sponsored by Representative bigpappa140.

2 - Reasons

  1. Towns sometimes have trouble with their budgets, and often find that having more registered citizens is barely rewarding if they aren't active within the town´s economy.
  2. Towns should be more inclined to advertise themselves to potential citizens.
  3. Towns should have more freedom over their own business, rather than the federal government.
  4. The federal government has a good amount of income from taxpayers and it would be worth the loss to help develop towns.

3 - Terms

(1) 30% of all town citizens´ balance tax shall go directly to the town balance of the town they are citizens of, rather than going to the government balance.

Nay - I agree with the idea but 30% is too much. I accidentally voted aye.
