Give the towns of Oakridge-bay and Klondike federal exemptions
The People of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 – Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Town Exemption Act or TEA”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Rep. SlimeGlitch
(4) This Bill was co-sponsored by Sen. black_ven0m
(5) This bill was approved by the Klondike town council, Oakridge-bay town council, and DoJ Sec. ElainaThomas
2 – Reasons
(1) Due to recent clarification from president Westray, it has come to our attention that Oakridge-bay has no official legal immunity to drug laws, as such, this bill seeks to remedy that
(2) Alongside this, I have approached other towns to see if they wish for any exemptions (within reason.) The town of Klondike requested the ability to distribute a brewery license.
3 – Terms
Oakridge Bay:
1. The town of Oakridge-bay will be granted the ability to distribute a Drug distribution license, allowing for the holder to sell and distribute illicit substances within the town.
2. This license will be overseen and regulated by the town government.
3. The DoJ may not arrest individuals or seize shops selling drugs that possess a license within the town of Oakridge-bay
4. The Oakridge-bay government retains full discretion on which drugs are protected under the Town exemption act, and may adjust their drug license as they see fit.
5. Oakridge-bays government may at any time invalidate this act via town bylaw
6. Oakridge bays government has full capabilities to revoke a Drug distribution license.
7. This act may overrule the drug trafficking and possession legalization act where applicable
8. Granted and revoked licenses will be logged on forums.
9. The person seeking a license must complete an application on the forums. It is up to the mayors discretion on what their applications will consist of
10. This bill shall persist in the event the town undergoes an official name change

2. This license will be overseen and regulated by the town government.
3. The DoJ may not arrest licensed individuals nor penalize licensed shops selling or brewing illicit brews within the town of Klondike.
4. The Klondike government retains full discretion on which brews are protected under the town exemption act, and may adjust their brews license as they see fit.
5. Klondikes government may at any time invalidate this act via town bylaw
6. Klondikes government has full capabilities to revoke an Illicit Brews license.
