The Federal Court removes the action to the District Court. The Federal Court has jurisdiction in prosecutions that will result in jail EXCEEDING 60 minutes.
Your Honor, the requirement for a criminal case in the Federal Court is "jail time exceeding 60 minutes or $10,000 in fines." The fine for this is 12000, which exceeds the 10000 dollars listed in these requirements, making it a Federal Court Case.
