MISSION STATEMENT:
The Redmont Foundation is a non-partisan policy forum that provides insights and analysis to help policymakers and stakeholders make sense of economic and political developments. It commemorates the ideals of Minecraft democracy through independent research and open dialogue.

This DOC grant will ensure that the Redmont Foundation can begin operations as soon as possible. We intend to become a place for an authoritative scholarship organization and to develop and certify real experts in Redmont. We are a non-profit institution and are accountable to a bipartisan, diverse, Board of Trustees. This grant is essential for us to build a good reputation with the general public and policy community.
Grant Request line item breakdown: (April - May)
The Foundation intends to Hire a permenant staff of 4 employees. (Total $36k)
- 1 Legal Counsel (Payroll 2.5k per week, 10k a month)
- 2 Accountants (payroll 2k per week, 8k a month)
- 1 Public Relations/Media person (payroll 1.5k per week, 6k a month)
Research Fellowship Stipend (Total $15k)
Scholars/Research Fellows are players who have a passion for advanced public policy issues and would like to write or produce content about this topic. The Foundation will support their publications and research work.

Endownment Fund (Total $10k): is governed under Section 5 of the Foundation Charter.

If approved, any scholarly work or publications funded by this grant will include an acknowledgment to the generosity of the Department of Commerce.
