Text Based Adventure Game

This game will work like this: I make a post saying your current surroundings as well as your inventory and such. You then give a command like "Open xyz door" and then ill go from there.

You wake up laying down on a hard rock. You stand up, looking around, seeing a dark cave surrounding you with no clear exit. There seems to be a table to the side of the room with some objects on it, you are unable to make them out due to the darkness. You think you can see some form of tunnel leading out of the room you are in.

Current Invetory:

On you:​

1. A worn linen shirt.
2. Slightly damaged breeches.

What do you do?

1. A chipped dagger.
2. An old worn water skin.
3. A scrap of parchment with something written on it.

You can only take one action per message (e.g walking thru the tunnel or reading the parchment, picking up gear in your immediate vicinity doesnt count).

ok, I read the parchment and pick up the dagger. If I misunderstood, and that’s not allowed, I just read the paper

You try to read the parchment but it contains a dialect of which you have no idea of the name of and are unable to translate it. You pick up the dagger seeing in closer detail its leather grip and chipped steel blade, in the hilt it has three unknown symbols engraved.

3. A chipped dagger (with engraved symbol).
4. A parchment (with illegible dialect on it).

What do you do?
