DEPARTMENT AND CABINET ACTIVITY

Department of State (DOS)

Achievements in November:

[N/A] Secretary did not fill out.

Goals for December:
[N/A] Secretary did not fill out.

Approximate Funds Spent: [N/A]

Department of Construction & Transport (DCT)

Achievements in November:

We have been working on multiple construction projects like the NBD Sewers, Willow restoration, national park and impeachment hottub and began planning LSC offices and a homeless shelter. We have completed around 150 Inspection reports, 63+ auctions, hired 4 new Inspectors and updated the Paste Policy.

Goals for December:
Maintained activity in Inspection and Pastes and the completion and paste of the latter projects.

Approximate Funds Spent: $170.000

Department of Health (DOH)

Achievements in November:

The DoH has been going through a period of transition with the resignation of Juniperfig from the department. During this time Raitheguy07 and gwiis have maintained the effective running of the department and held discussions for development once a secretary has been confirmed by the Senate. The department has seen the hiring of a new generation of doctors who have taken up and active role in the workforce to keep everyone healthy.

Goals for December:
In December, the DoH is looking to get underway with some policy clarification to strengthen the efficiency of the department and allow for more consistent applications of our internal policies. The department will also begin work on implementing vaccines and auditing our current diseases for ways that they could be improved or reworked.

Approximate Funds Spent: The DoH stuck closely to its budget through November, with no need to dip into our emergency provisions for outbreaks or additional training.

The department is looking to have a more productive December now we are under stable leadership again

Department of Commerce (DOC)

Achievements in November:

Resolved longstanding issues in the CPI report sheet.
Developed a reliable prune solution allowing us to work towards bringing back the over $60 million held by inactive accounts with $4 million already being pruned.
Created new business regulation policy to help clarify and publicize the general guidelines for all businesses.
Enacted next phase of SOWF payouts, restoring more money to depositors.
Began gathering player balance data for efforts to estimate the effect that different tax rates would have.
Initiated bankruptcy proceedings for the exchange and final liability registration window.

Goals for December:
We would like to bring the government balance up to at least $20 million by the end of the month.
Hiring more Compliance Officers.
Further policy reworks.
Ensure registrations and grants are consistently being handled in a timely manner through better scheduling and task delegation.
Finalise and send out payments for next SOWF phase.
Work with FRB to ensure all deposit taking FIs are properly registered with them and in compliance with their policies.
A functioning and stable DOC.

Approximate Funds Spent: $375,000

Another wonderful month, with our new method of pruning accounts the DOC has gained access to over $60 million worth of funds that we plan to begin bringing under the Commonwealth's direct control. This should hopefully grant the government greater leniency in budgeting and an allowance for larger projects under its discretion. This should also reduce the need for further money printing, looking forward to the bright future ahead of us.
Merry Christmas everyone!
