The purpose of the State of the Commonwealth Report is to increase Cabinet transparency and provide an insight into the happenings of the Government. This information is provided in good faith and although it may be listed here as a goal, it may not occur. This report simply outlines Government achievements, plans, and goals.

Department of State (DOS)

Achievements in August:
- massively updated the election counting sheets, which will save at least 1-2 hours per congressional election.
- closed national census responses, paid out most of it.
- SOTC!
- added the finished budget report tables to the June 2026 Budget Report
- new employees hired and trained!
- bar council special election, willow township act referendum
- oakridge council, aventura council & mayor, inaugural willow commission elections.
- introduction of "intent to deregister" for political parties. some parties registered and some parties deregistered.
- a lot of passport applications as usual

Goals for September:
- national census in progress
- the SOTC
- congressional general elections with live counting
- specials maybe
- update party registration policies

Approximate Funds Spent:
Total: Almost 500k (National Census Survey Compensation: $147,000, Audits: $90,000, Elections: $128,327.42, Departmental Loading: $40,000, Grants: $35,000, Passport Processing: $63,600)

Unfortunately we have been unable to obtain the transaction information for the Budget Report for July and August so it will be some time before those are completed. But we did publish the June ones.

Department of Construction & Transport (DCT)

Achievements in August:
Completed and pasted a total of NINE construction projects:
* Hall of Presidents
* Operation Babe Ruth (ballpark)
* Gold/Human Presidential Museum
* Willow Farmland Expansion
* Atomic Estates
* Capitol Station expansion
* Atomic Park & Cafe
* Baloo Park
* Capitol Flower Garden

Processed over 200 eviction reports, including all backlog from the strikes in July.
Updated departmental Auction Policy to run our auctions more efficiently.
Transferred control of Willow over to the town government.
Cleared the backlog of paste requests and applications.
Collected over R$3,5 million of tax revenue.

Goals for September:
* New policy to combat the practice of "reselling rental rights".
* A bunch of awesome Construction work .
* Continued enforcement of building regulations throughout Redmont.

Department of Health (DOH)

Department of Commerce (DOC)

Achievements in August:
1) Pruned millions 5+ don’t have the exact number, but this is a low estimate. With a lot more to come.
2) Cleaning out the list of DB's. By starting the process of disbanding and pruning inactive businesses.
3) Cracked down on non-compliance for FI's. 20+ notices have been sent out to non-compliant/-reporting FI's in their dockets, and we are already seeing an increase in compliance and reporting. It will take some time to go through, and this is only the start as there are many more to file notices to.
4) On that note. If a company doesn’t comply with our compliance orders, we will escalate enforcement. This is done by creating a compliance case. Point being: We have 30+ compliance cases, which are larger investigations such as insolvencies, scams, receiverships and other issues related to commerce. These are complex issues and take time to resolve, but we are making process.
5) A large change is going to be the implementation of the new acts that recently passed, which essentially overhaul the entire commerce sector.
6) Fired inactive employees and hired new ones.
7) Referred cases to the DOJ for prosecution. (Not sure where they are on that)

Goals for September:
1) Finishing the implementation of the new acts, mentioned before. It is my intention with DOC policy and the framework of these acts to make it easier for new players to create and incorporate businesses.
2) Even more prunes.
3) More completed compliance cases. (i.e. meaning paying depositors their money out from scams or insolvent banks)
4) Further crackdown on FI non-compliance.
5) Potentially a DOC website that streamlines all DOC processes and procedures. (Still talking to staff about this one)

Approximate Funds Spent:
Around 1M, 111080,94 was left over. DOC is not displayed in budget channel other than prunes.

Department of Public Affairs (DPA)

Achievements in August:
Reworked the media side of the department completely. Reworked pay to be more sustainable and efficient, fired/hired new employees. Hired Paper as my second deputy secretary. Will be hiring new managers within next few days.

Goals for September:
Will be hiring lots of media employees to jump start that side of the department, hiring more employees to replace ones we lost, hopefully more consistent events.

TOWN STATUS

Town of Oakridge

Achievements in August:
- New Oakridge Building Regulations
- Some small events
- New Cultural Development Office to work on the town's museums
- A bunch of rezoned plots
- A number of Grants and Oakridge Business Association reforms
- Some would say too many press conferences (they'd be wrong)
- Ridgewood resectioned for the DCT and waiting on being pasted (again)
- The Oakridge server has been reorganized
- Interesting talks with the Town of Willow on cross-town relations

Goals for September:
- Ridgewood paste
- Our next Mayoral Elections
- A lot of work on the town museums
- Some new build projects, including an archive for the Cultural Development Office
- Work on the Oakridge National Bank

Town Balance: $4,740,365.57

The Town is doing incredibly well! We've had an excellent month this August, with a lot of progress in the town on various things. I am in particular excited about the Cultural Development Office and the work we will be doing on preserving Oakridge's history. The museums and historical sites in town currently are unfinished, and are missing a lot of context that risks being lost to time. I am excited to learn more, and be able to preserve that knowledge so that the next generation of players can see what happened before, when the players that were around leave for other things.

I also want to congratulate Willow for their township! A win for one town is a win for us all, and I am excited to see them grow, and hope the relationship between our towns remains warm and fruitful for many years to come!
