STATE OF THE COMMONWEALTH
The purpose of the State of the Commonwealth Report is to increase Cabinet transparency and provide an insight into the happenings of the Government. This information is provided in good faith and although it may be listed here as a goal, it may not occur. This report simply outlines Government achievements, plans, and goals.

DEPARTMENT AND CABINET ACTIVITY
Department of State (DOS)
Achievements in April:
- Audits completed for the DPA, DOI, and DCT.
- Seventh National Census published.
- Ran Aventura Mayor & Council Elections, Oakridge Council Elections.
- Further training and new opportunities for Auditors and Electoral Officers.
Goals for May:
- The usual May Congressional Elections. The usual monthly SOTC report. Audits for DOE, DOJ, and DHS.
- Further progress with introducing cash-flow statements to SOTC reports, and working on a DoS Discord Bot to help with elections: Led by Deputy Secretary EATB
- The inaugural RBA elections with the new law, and analyzing the Redmont Bar Association Act, making sure it is followed and clarifying potential issues with members Congress. Hammering out details relevant to the International Community Framework Act with the President and Department of the Interior.

Achievements in April:

- Around 165 eviction reports filed

Achievements in April:
Completely revolutionised healthcare in Redmont: We have brand new diseases, and a face lift for most of our old ones. New symptoms, new cure pathways that strengthen the role of our pharmacists. Development and release of vaccines and preventative equipment.
Goals for May:
Roll out of the next phase of the overhaul and the beginning of development for surgical procedures.
Approximate Funds Spent:
The DOH has spent all their funds this month and made use of the presidential reserve while the roll out happened.

Achievements in April:
We kept hiring and training new members. Kept our weekly event streak and are now at 7 consecutive weeks of events!

This wasnt a very eventful (get it? hah) month for us. We are still trying to get some routine in the work and reliable members that produce more fun events.
Department of Education (DOE)

Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Achievements in April:
- Added a new bonus/officer of the month framework to the DHS Payment Policy to reward and motivate employees for excellent contribution and effort.
- Reviewed the police test for recruits to add some new questions to ensure an up to date assessment method.
- Published a DHS Frequently Asked Questions page on the forums, an effort towards ensuring the public are equipped with the resources to understand DHS relevant aspects of Redmont. This page will continue to be developed throughout May to ensure it's comprehensive and relevant.
Goals for May:
- Continued efficiency in executing verdicts and answering tickets.
- Publication of a DHS Miscellaneous Policies handbook on the forums to document DHS's policies on pardon execution, consensual murder, charge appeals, etc.
Approximate Funds Spent:

- Monthly officer compensation (for March, paid on the 1st April — this doesn't cover the April payments, that will be considered under April spending

Department of Justice (DOJ)
Achievements in April:
We’ve continued hiring more legal professionals and employees into our prosecutorial division as well as the RBI. The DOJ also brought back the post of the Clerk to assist with administrative duties. We continue to prosecute individuals who breach the law, as well as defend the Commonwealth in court.
Additionally, we’ve put out an EOI for people interested in becoming the Solicitor General.
Goals for May:
Our employee pay policy will be updated to better compensate employees and encourage retention. The RBI has started working through our backlog of cases, we hope to get through some of this next month.
The AG also hopes to hire a Solicitor General.

Town of Oakridge

Town of Aventura
Achievements in April:
Aventura has had a productive month focused on civic improvement and cleaning up the town. Some key achievements include:
- Initiated the eviction process for several long-term inactive properties, freeing up plots for new and active residents
- Removed the WIP Information Center at spawn that had long been an eyesore, and completed a full spawn renovation to open up the area and showcase Aventura's beautiful builds
- Began writing a comprehensive Aventura guide for new players to help them get settled in town
- Fixed numerous potholes across Aventura, improving the overall look and feel of our streets
Goals for May:
Next month is shaping up to be one of Aventura's most exciting yet. Citizens can look forward to:
Town Hall:
- Renovations to the empty areas within Town Hall
- A social event hosted at the town hall bar, where residents can meet and ask the Mayor and Council questions directly
- Sale of official Aventura flags and souvenirs
- Construction of a brand new Information Center at spawn
- Completion and release of the Aventura new player guide
Horse Track:
- Creation of rental stalls for players to stable their horses
- Hosting of Aventura's first ever Horse Racing Derby
Town Balance: $2,245,138.99
Aventura has faced a turbulent month politically, with the deportation of Mayor Budgiebud. Despite this, the administration has remained functional and committed to delivering for our residents. We are stable, we are active, and Aventura is only moving forward.
