STATE OF THE COMMONWEALTH
The purpose of the State of the Commonwealth Reports is to increase Cabinet transparency and provide an insight into the happenings of the Government. This information is provided in good faith and although it may be listed here as a goal, it may not occur. This report simply outlines Government achievements, plans, and goals.

Achievements in April:
- Finished the promenade,
- Made progress in other projects,

- Worked together with the DOI on urban development,
- Discussed about what we're gonna do with the BI report cap and the BI salary

Department of Health (DOH)
Achievements in April:
- Announced March Doctor of the Month
- Activity check for trainee doctors
- Implemented a way for secretary to know when trainees took the exam (thank you Nacho)
- Properly announced the new infraction system to the public
Goals for May:
- Updating doctor training guides to become more engaging
- New diseases/increasing the infection rate?
- New clinic in Willow
- Update discord roster and possibly discord guides
- Firing inactive employees
Department of Commerce (DOC)

Department of the Interior (DOI)
Achievements in April:
- Initiated a joint project with the DCT to improve the city's emptiness.
- Continued the tender project.
- Fired inactive people from the department
- Updated the cheat sheet with the new plugin (bolt)

Department of Public Affairs (DPA)

Department of Justice (DOJ)
Achievements in April:
Through my knowledge, we have not done all too much. So far, we've mainly removed squads from the department.
Goals for May:
As an acting Secretary, I cannot give a solid answer for this question. However, if reappointed, I hope to promote more individuals to Lieutenant / Sergeant positions. (I'd also like to hire more officers as a whole) Along with this, I would plan to have more activities for the department members to engage in. This would mainly consist of more tasks being added for individuals being interested in earning some extra cash. To add to that, I would also like to have more of an open environment within the management and other officers. Right now I feel as though some people may be nervous to chat with the management, and I'd like to change that. To start this, I have taken it upon myself to ask general questions in regards to employment satisfaction and what not twice a month to everyone in their personal channels. However, I would like to modify this in a way to have more open communication between other members of the management as well.
Department of Education (DOE)
Achievements in April:
We have had a bit of a rough month with constant leadership changes among other things. We haven’t made much improvement but here are some significant things we have done:
- significant increase in guide activity
- New recipes created like the ones for guns and food
- Guides on the forums updated
- The start of a revamp of the DC Jobs Discord server
Goals for May:
We have a lot planned for the upcoming month to turn the department around. Here are some notable things we would like to accomplish:
1. We would like to remove the professor and archivist roles and make two new roles as a result. Activity in both sections of the department are really low and we would like to increase it. There is also little organization in those sections and an improper balance of responsibilities.
2. We would like to finish our new and improved version of DC Jobs and make it much more active.
3. Changes in how the tourism section of our department works so we get increased activity.
4. Work with staff to make new recipes regarding things like food, vehicles, weaponry, and drugs.
5. Work with the DCT to make new improvements to the university and the museum.
6. Remake most of the job exams at the university to make them relevant.
7. Work with the RBA and the DLA to improve lawyer activity and provide more resources and classes for lawyers.
8. Possibly merge the DOE and DOC to the DEC. We are having talks about this with the DOC as well as Congress and the cabinet.
We have a lot planned for the upcoming months and I really think we can turn this department around.
