To
Allow secretaries to change application requirements for government jobs of their respective department
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Secretary Application Requirements Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Rep. zLost
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Sen. Yeet_Boy
2 - Reasons
1. Currently, the application requirements and format are set up by higher ups on the staff team
2. Secretaries should be able to change the application requirements and format of their respective departments.
3 - Implementation
Secretaries will be able to change requirements, or formats of application for government jobs of their respective departments if they have a majority of the leadership team of their department agreeing with it.
4 - Constitutional Amendment
Amend Part 3, Section 28 of the constitution from:
Secretaries & Executive Officers are members of the cabinet who each lead a government department or portfolio. It is the Secretary's job to oversee the efficient operations of their department and to create and amend department policy in conjunction with the Government's direction. They appoint and dismiss employees of their respective departments. They can rename employee roles and positions at will.
