CONGRESS OF THE
COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
A BILL TO
AMEND THE FIREARMS LICENSING ACT TO REMOVE ARMED FORCES OF COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT REFERENCES
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
PART I — PRELIMINARIES
1. Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Remove AFCR from Firearms Act’
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative EATB.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by President of the Senate Talion77.
(5) This Act amends the following acts:
(a) Firearms Licensing Act
(b) Criminal Code Act
2. Reasons and Intent
(1) The Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Redmont (AFCR) was formally repealed and disbanded by the Elimination of National Defense Act.
(2) To maintain statutory clarity and eliminate defunct legal provisions, all references to AFCR and its military ranks (such as "Major") should be removed from the Firearms Licensing Act and the associated Criminal Code offences.
PART II — AMENDMENTS TO THE FIREARMS LICENSING ACT
3. Amendments to Firearms Licenses
(1) Section 4(3)(a) of the Firearms Licensing Act shall be amended as follows:
"(a) Enhanced License. These are issued for national security purposes only, and are restricted to members of the DHS
(i) In addition to all privileges granted to those who hold Full firearms licenses, active employees of the DHS
PART III — AMENDMENTS TO THE CRIMINAL CODE ACT
4. Amendments to Weapons of Mass Destruction Offences
(1) PART VI: SUBSTANCE OFFENCES of the Criminal Code Act shall be amended as follows:
“5 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Possession
Offence Type: Summary
Penalty: 10 Penalty Units; 1 firearms license strike
A person commits an offence if the person:
(a) possesses a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
This offence shall not occur where:
(b) The person holds a valid Enhanced firearms license; and
(c) The possession is done with the permission of the DHS Secretary
(d) The possession is done in the course of the person’s official duties as a member of the DHS

6 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Trafficking
Offence Type: Indictable
Penalty: Up to 100 Penalty Units; up to 60 minutes imprisonment
A person commits an offence if the person:
(a) sells or traffics a weapon of mass destruction; or
(b) distributes a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
Instance (b) of this offence shall not occur where:
(i) The person holds a valid Enhanced firearms license; and
(ii) The possession is done with the permission of the DHS Secretary
(iii) The possession is done in the course of the person’s official duties as a member of the DHS
