Establish A PvP and Trespassing Replacement Act​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


1 - Short Title and Enactment
This Act may be cited as the “PvP and Trespassing Replacement Act”.
This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.


2- Replacement of the Punishment (what topics)
(1) Murder
(2) Assault
(3) Attempted Murder


3- Murder
(1) Definition: Murder is the act of unlawfully killing another player. This law overrides Attempted Murder.
(2) The player kills a player in the game.
(3) The punishment will be changed to:
(4) The jail time will be increased to 10 minutes
(5) The payment the player needs to make, will be increased to 400 dollars
(6) The victim of the crime can sue the murderer to pay his or her damage on his armor and other personal things.

4- Assault
(1) Definition: Assault is the act of hitting a player, causing a loss of no more than 3 hearts.
(2) Assault is when a player loses 1 - 3 hearts.
(3) A payment fee of 150 dollars
(4) The punishment will be effective when a Police officer sees proof. For this act, it isn’t necessary to have a judge deciding.

5- Attempted Murder
(1) Definition: Attempted murder is the act of repetitively hitting a player, causing a loss of more than 3 hearts. This law overrides Assault.
(2) This when the player loses more than 3 hearts, but doesn’t die.
(3) The punishment will be changed to:
(4) A payment of 250 dollars.
(5) A jail time of 5 minutes.
(6) The victim of the crime can sue the murderer to pay his or her damage on his armor and other personal things.

6- Self Defense
(1) Definition: the defence of one's person or interests, especially through the use of physical force, which is permitted in certain cases as an answer to a charge of violent crime.
(2) This is not an offence when the player can prove it. When the player can’t prove, there will be a punishment for commiting a crime: Assault, Attempted Murder, Murder.

Vetoed,

$400 fine for a murder is too high, I suggest to change it to a fine of $200. The balance of a new player will be too low and will most likely result in the player leaving the server.
