Ensure Laws are Constitutional​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives and Senators in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Protection of Constitutionality Amendment”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by Representative hugebob23456

2 - Reasons
(1) As it currently stands certain laws are perfectly reasonable but unconstitutional due to the uncompromising nature of Section Four of the Constitution.
(2) Term 1 is just to fix a horrible typo that’s actually sad.

3 - Terms
(1) “The Democracycraft Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it, subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law that are justified in a free and democratic server.” changes to “The Democracycraft Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it, subject only to such reasonable limits codified within this constitution that are justified in a free and democratic server.”” changes to “The Democracycraft Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it to all lawful citizens, subject only to such reasonable limits codified within this constitution that are justified in a free and democratic server.
(2) “The right to participate in, and run for elected office.” changes to “The right to participate in, and run for elected office, unless as punishment for a crime.
(3) Added to “Rights and Freedoms”: “VIII. Unless otherwise codified in law outside this Constitution, all players are to be granted Citizenship upon joining the server for the first time.

Removed the clause relating to rights of criminals
Removed the clause relating to modifying the Freedom of Political Communication
 
This bill is has received presidential assent and may be put to Referendum.​
