Amend the Prison Escape Act
​

The people of DemocracyCraft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into laws:​

1 - Short title and enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Prison Escape Act”.​

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.​

(3) This Act was authored by Representative Eastray_.​

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored and reformatted by Deputy Speaker Figomessi07.​

2 - Reason

(1) Current prison is impossible to escape without using glitches.​

(2) Jail bus is not counted as a part of the prison, therefore escaping this place has no consequences.​

(3) Escaping the jail bus should become a feature to promote more crime RP, instead of being punished by staff for glitching.​

3 - Attempted jail sentences escape

(1) A new law call “Attempted jail sentences escape” shall be added to section 3 of the “Prison Escape Act” and under “PvP and Trespassing”.​

(2) Upon the signing of this act, a new Law shall be updated and put under “PvP Trespassing” as “13.x Attempted Jail Sentences Escape”.​

(3) Attempted jail sentences escape shall be defined as: ​

“A player is found guilty if found trying to escape or successfully escape the jail bus to evade one's jail sentence.”​

4 - Enforcement and Punishment

(1) The Department of Justice shall have the jurisdiction to investigate and fine individuals who violate “Attempted jail sentences escape”​

(2) Any violation of this law named "Attempted jail sentences escape" is subject to the following punishments:​

First offence: $20 fine.​

Second offence: $40 fine + 5 minutes jail time.​

Third offence: $60 fine + 10 minutes jail time.​
