I give you the President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, 1950minecrafter, I hope you all know the rules from last time
President 1950minecrafter » Thank you Jorinton. Good morning, afternoon or night, dear fellow citizens of Redmont. This press conference should be short, so I won't take too much time from you. So, let's begin.
First of all I have to mention the 5th Anniversary event that we held yesterday. DemocracyCraft is now 5 years old! That's an important milestone in the life of a server. And it's not just that DC has made it to 5 years, but we've done it in a good shape, with many troubles through the path, but here we are, and I wish DC, at least, 5 more years, and more! So, yesterday we were able to take a look at the old Capitol and Brown House that we had in Hamilton City and we played Hide&Seek, with 3 rounds and 3 winners. Congrats to the winners! During this week we will hold more events, so stay tuned!
Next topic is the Aventura Town Council elections for the Head of Chief Council and the Head of Commerce. Angryhamdog is the new Head of Chief Council while Ryland is the new Head of Commerce of Aventura. Congrats to the winners! Yesterday, Alexandria Prime Minister Casualgreyknight and I held the first meeting between both Heads of Governments of both nations to define the terms for a treaty of mutual recognition. The meeting developed smoothly and was productive. We are currently working with our teams to be able to get to an agreed treaty that we can send to our respective legislative bodies to be approved.
I would also like to mention that the DCT and the DOI are hiring people, so if there's anyone interested on becoming a ranger, a builder or a Building Inspector, go to the forums and apply, I'm sure they will be glad to see people applying!
And finally, the main matters I want to focus on for next week is nominating 2 candidates for the FRB and fill in all the empty seats, as well as finally bring up the grants program for democratically managed companies. Press Advisor jorinton » By differing government types you refer to the fact tha Alexandria is a monarchy, right? Well in any case we recognize the Alexandrian people as sovereign and therefore they can organize under any political system they wish to. Is that a satisfactory answer?
