Amend the Constitution.

The people of DemocracyCraft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act shall be cited as the “Polls Separation Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon it’s signage.
(3) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. Bubba_Tea_.

2 - Reasons
(1) Citizens have declared their candidacy for House of Representatives and Senate during the same election in the past.
(2) It is not fair that citizens can declare a seat for both chambers, as you can only hold a seat in one during a term.

3 - Terms
(1) Under the section “Electoral Terms and Limitations”;

(2) A citizen can only sit in one chamber; Where a citizen is elected to both chambers, it will be that they assume their seat in the Senate and forfeit their seat in the House of Representatives.

Shall be changed to:

(2) A citizen can only sit in one chamber; Where a citizen declares candidacy for both chambers during the same election, it will be that they assume candidacy for the first chamber in which they declared and forfeit their candidacy for the opposing chamber.
