How do you plan on using your grant funding?
We plan to use the $65,000 grant to acquire a commercial property, which will serve as the permanent home of Aegis Athena, our new private law practice. This property will provide the professional infrastructure needed to launch and grow a modern, client-focused legal firm that prioritizes access, innovation, and community engagement.
The funding will allow us to establish a fully functional legal office equipped to offer a broad range of services to individuals and businesses. Our focus will include expanding access to high-quality legal representation, and building a robust pro bono initiative to support those in urgent but underserved legal situations.
Additionally, owning our office space will give us the ability to invest in long-term hiring and training of talented legal professionals. This supports both workforce development and our goal of retaining top legal talent in the region, contributing to a more dynamic and competitive legal market.
