Establish national monuments

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Monuments Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: Rep. xEndeavour
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Rep. Blogworldexpo

2 - Reasons
(1) To add character and spectacle to the nation
(2) To protect public places and buildings of significance
(3) To create a national monuments register

3 - National Monuments Register
(1) Establish a national monuments register under the Congressional Library

4 - National Monuments
(1) Reveille National Park
(2) Hamilton Memorial
(3) Mount Rushvert
(4) Government House
(5) Redmont Rotunda
(6) St Endeavour Church
(7) Adonis Statue
(8) Presidential Libraries

5 - Additions
(1) Additions to the National Monuments register must be made through law.
(a) The structure is protected from the state that it was in prior to the proposal of making it a national monument.

6 - Protections
(1) National Monuments share the same protections as heritage listed buildings and their exterior structures cannot be added to or altered.
