What grant are you applying for? Start-up Grant
What problem does your business solve and what makes you different from competitors? My business solves the trend of high priced items by selling at a more reasonable price. I think what makes me different from competitors is that I care. Being a fairly new player I know how it feels to start and struggle a little.
How do you plan to generate revenue to scale up your business and is your long-term vision for the company? My plan to generate revenue is to first get a plot and have rentable spaces and a place for my shop. Then when funds are adequate I will hire employees to stock items I need on the shelves. All the while I get more real-estate in Reveille to get mini shops and have more areas for people to rent.
What is you and your team's experience and expertise? With my little playtime on the server I do have some experience. I own a small shop that supplies basic building materials. I supply it all myself. I know how it is to keep a shop in stock and also how to run it. I know the many different jobs that take place for a company to run.
How will you use the grant funds, and what impact do you expect them to have on your business? For the grant funds I would purchase and reasonable sized plot in Reveille by a bus. Then use what is left over to start construction on a building. My company would be hugely impacted in many tremendous ways. First we have our own property. Second we would have another source of income. Third it provides space for the company to grow as we get more employees.
