I, Chairperson NoMoreUno, move to censure Corvyx for violations of the BAR Code of Conduct. We believe Corvyx has committed the following violations of the BAR CoC:
- AI Misuse: It seems likely that Corvyx used AI for this filing. This is visible in his nonstandard formatting and his lack of knowledge of court proceedings (see his response to the Order to Show Cause in UntitledSteve v. MAXXXMAXX. Additionally, Corvyx’s filing is well written and grammatically sound, while his forum posts outside of the courtroom contain grammatical errors and lack the same structure.
- General Principles: The use of AI results in a filing riddled with legal errors- CCA in a civil suit, baseless prayers for relief, the like.
Corvyx was given a chance to address the allegations put forward by the BAR. His response is flawed- he argues that the formatting is a result of Google Docs, though he admitted soon after that he did not actually use Google Docs. This is a symptom of how Corvyx chose to respond; he had someone else write his response for him (as admitted in DMs). This further reinforces the idea that Corvyx needs assistance to compose a legal document- indicative of AI.
