This is an official DOC enforcement notice. Meridian Bank have missed filings for their last report (June). The July report is due tomorrow.

Per BITA Part IV Section 22(1) and (2), late filings cause Meridian Bank to be liable for a penalty of $2.500 per day for their first missed report, and $5.000 per day for repeat failure. At time of writing Meridian Bank are liable for $75.000 in late filing penalties as seen from the attachment.

The DOC is willing to provide Meridian Bank a cure period of 7 days, with the possibility of extension given a valid reason. If not cured or no response has been received in 7 days, the department will consider escalating FIEA enforcement, such as freeze orders, receivership and referral to the DOJ for criminal prosecution.

Acknowledged. Thank you for the notice and the 7-day cure period.

The missing June, July, and August financial statements (balance sheet and income statement for each period) are now filed in the Financial Institution Reporting thread here. June was submitted first per the Department's stated priority, with July and August following.

Happy to provide any additional detail or clarification the Department needs to process these and close this out.
