This is the official election post for the 1st mayoral election in the Town of Aventura.

Players seeking mayoral candidacy must reply:

I, <username>, declare that I will be contesting the Office of the Mayor. My Deputy Mayor running mate will be <username>. I will be running as an Independent / a member of example political party.

Appointed Department Councilors:
Office of Commerce - <username>
Office of Urban Development - <username>
Office of Tourism and Culture - <username>
Office of the Chief Counsel - <username>
Office of Administration - <username>

All candidates must
1. Outline their intended Department Councilor appointees in their declaration statement.
2. Have Aventura residency or own property within the Town.
3. Have a minimum of 6 hours of active playtime in the previous 30 days.

Candidates and parties are encouraged to create Discord servers and advertise on DC platforms.

Nominations close in 72 hours, with voting open for a total of 48 hours.

There are no citizenship or playtime requirements for voters.
